Job Summary / Role Overview

  • The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs across EPC project sites. The role ensures compliance with international safety standards, promotes a strong safety culture, and safeguards personnel, equipment, and operations during all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Deliver training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety compliance during construction and commissioning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of safety activities, audits, and certifications.
  • Ensure adherence to local, national, and international HSE regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma / Graduate degree / Postgraduate degree in any stream.
  • Professional Qualification: Recognized industry certificate in HSE such as NEBOSH IGC.
  • Experience: Onshore/ Offshore and H2S/ CO2 environment experience
  • Experience: Five years practical field experience of managing HSE on drilling rig / workover operations / production installation/ base office.
  • Experience with Pedigree clients & countries.
