Logging While Drilling / Measurement While Drilling (LWD/MWD)

Job Summary / Role Overview:
- Knowledge of MWD tool operations
- Provide pre-job and post-job support to Lead MWD engineer
- Assists with Rig up and Rig down at the well site
- Co-ordination with well site drilling engineer
- Assists in the preparation of MWD and LWD tools at the well site.
- Assists in LWD log generation and delivery at the well site.
- Assists Technicians in repairing and checking MWD/LWD/DD tools.
- Actively participates in Knowledge sharing
- Helps in the preparation of End of Well Reports and final data delivery
- Assists the Cell Manager and Lead Engineer in the preparation of well site reports
- Participates in post job debriefings
- Assists in preparing final archive for the Job as per the Local workflows, requirements
- Assists in keeping updated Unit and tools inventory at the rig site always
- Assists in failure investigations at the base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare fishing diagram of every BHA component
- Has required proficiencies for the services relevant to the job and must be certified competent as second MWD Engineer.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree with 2 years of Experience.
- Diploma with 3 years of Experience.
- Onshore / Offshore / H2S environment Experience.
Preferred Skills: BGHE Schooling Certificate is required.
