ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

GET Global Group is building a suite of AI-augmented internal business applications to power its services, and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to serve as the technology expert within the Technology function. You will be the primary technical counterpart to Product Owners — equal parts advisor, hands-on developer, and quality gate — with a clear growth path towards in-house architectural ownership. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

 

Technical Advisory 

• Advise Product Owners on implementation approaches, trade-offs, and security considerations during design and build. 

• Review architecture documents and AI-generated code; collaborate with the external Solution Architect on macro decisions. 

Hands-On Development 

• Perform AI-assisted development alongside Product Owners; guide prompt engineering and iterate on AI-generated code. 

• Establish coding standards, maintain context libraries, fix AI error patterns, and take applications from ~90% to production-ready. 

• Serve as the ‘technical conscience’ — catching edge cases, handling integrations, and bridging the last mile of delivery. 

CI/CD & DevOps Interface 

• Define pipeline requirements, author GitHub Actions workflows, and coordinate with the external DevOps team on environment provisioning and deployments. 

• Triage production incidents and distinguish application-layer from infrastructure-layer root causes. 

Code Review & Deployment Gating 

• Review and approve all code across Dev → QA → Staging → Production as a standing member of the technical review committee. 

Vendor & Incident Management

• Own the technical interface with external partners; deploy hot fixes and restore service across the full application portfolio. 

Architectural Growth (1–2 Years) 

• Progressively own component-level and integration architecture, reducing reliance on the external architect over time. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

Required 

• 6–7 years of software development experience; strong back-end focus, solid full-stack capability. 

• Hands-on with AI coding tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) in a production context. 

• Proficiency in the company’s tech stack (Java, PHP, Python, Node.js, Kotlin, Swift, Angular, Android, iOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, SQLite, Redis, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon S3, Docker, VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), Apache Kafka, WebSockets, ActiveMQ, WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), WSO2 API Manager, Camunda, OAuth, MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Claude AI / Anthropic SDK.); familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar). 

• Experience with cloud-hosted applications and working alongside a DevOps or infrastructure team. 

• Strong code review skills — security, performance, and maintainability. 

• Able to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred 

• Agency / consultancy background — valued for breadth, end-to-end delivery ownership, and resourceful problem-solving. 

• Experience with integration patterns, API design, and microservices or modular monolith architectures. 

• Exposure to infrastructure and DevOps fundamentals.
