Role Synopsis
The Cementing Operator-L3 is a senior-level position responsible for leading spot & rig-up of cement equipment, executing cementing operations at oil and gas well sites. This role involves overseeing the preparation, mixing, and pumping of cement slurry secure casing and isolate formations. The operator works with a high level of autonomy and responsibility to ensure the safe and efficient execution of cementing jobs according to company procedures and industry standards.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)
- Plan and execute cementing operations according to approved job designs, procedures, and safety guidelines, ensuring the proper placement of cement in the wellbore to achieve zonal isolation and casing integrity.
- Manage and maintain cementing equipment, including pumps, mixers, and associated tools, ensuring equipment readiness, performance, and compliance with maintenance schedules
- Ensure all HP irons are certified as per QHSE standard before rig up.
- Ensure clean & wash all cement equipment after each cement job and its readiness for the next job
